History
Conadrew GSD has been established as breeders since 1971. Margaret and Geoff purchased their first shepherd in 1969 as a pet, although this shepherd was not bred from, this certainly set the foundation for what was to follow..................!!!
Geoff and Margaret have both grown up around dogs. Geoff's parents and grandparents both bred GSD's pre and post war. Geoff's father bred under the affix of "Conamore GSD", and was successful within the breed. Margaret's parents bred dogs also although not to compete, they bred and loved having dogs around the house during the early years.
Offspring
Geoff and Margaret's son Andrew is also very active within the breed. He is a handler of GSD's and has handled dogs since the age of fourteen. Andrew is a very successful handler, winning every top award at major shows throughout the country including 'Best of Breed' at Crufts, 'Best of Breed' at the Two Day Nationals, winning Over 200 CC's, handling numerous dogs to the title of 'Champion'. He has even handled to a 'Best of Breed' in Barbados (alright for some!!!!!!!).

Andrew has also handled at the German Seiger show. In 2005 Andrew handled in a couple of progeny parades and also handled in the 12 - 18 months age group. Andrew was pulled out in 43rd position, but not satisfied with that he masterfully steered the dog (Igel vom Huhnegrab) into 21st position, an achievement that could only be mastered by few, delighting the owners of the dog and ofcourse himself.
In 2006, Andrew handled Matz vom Huhnegrab at the German Sieger show to the position of SG19. This was an excellent achievement and a great experience.

Orbit was crowned British Sieger 2006. Orbit is proudly owned by John and Pauline Cullen.

Judging and Breeding
Andrew and his late father Geoff have judged GSD's many times in this country. Andrew has passed the necessary examinations, seminars etc to enable him to become a Championship show judge. To date, Andrew has passed 'The Kennel Club' rules and regulations examination, attended the movement and confirmation seminar and has passed the Kennel club 'Hands on Assessment' and has also sat and successfully passed the Breed Council written examination at the first attempt. Andrew is judging his first Championship show in April 2009. Andrew is judging females alongside his good friend Sharon Bowen, Lararth GSDs

Geoff, Margaret and Andrew all believe that when breeding, a good temprament is of paramount importance. Although the aim when breeding is to improve their show and breeding stock, they acknowledge that 99% of puppies bred, will be sold to pet owners.
